Biography

It was nearly fifty years ago that my parents presented me with my first steel guitar - a six string Rickenbacker. It was an acquisition that would help shape the rest of my life. I was fourteen and had grown up in a household in which the radio had been an important part of the family's recreation and entertainment.

'It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got a string.'
